From Brisbane .

So we've been in Brisbane sience Thursday and it's been really nice.

Funny thing, when we left Surfers from the hostel Sleeping Inn we got droped off at the bus stop in a Limosine... haha.

So in Brissie we've been quit good tourists, took the ferry along the river, both day and night time, really beautiful. Walked around in the city, did some smaller shopping. Walked into a really beautiful church named St John's Cathedral, which they started to build 1906 and just finished 2009, pretty cool. I lighted a candle and said a pray, felt reallt nice.
On Friday we went to South Brisbane to go see Hangover 2 and walked around, really nice, saw a man who did a fireshow by the river. Another day we went back there and had lunch by the river and then went to the gallery of modern art, my favorite part was a room filled with artwork from just students, high school and collage, they were really good. Really like the south part of Brisbane.

So that's pretty much what we've been doing here, and some partying. Tomorrow at 11 we're going to Mooloolaba and after that it's noosa. So looking forward to do some surfing, was soo long ago and I miss it soo soo much.

Thinking alot of all the people at home and that you have summer there now. Hope it's really warm and good weather. I miss You all soo soo much !!

Doing it real backpacker style..

...so now we've started to travel Australia as real backpackers, out of the Spot X bubble, hostel to hostel, out of our backpacks. So far we've made it to Yamba, Byron Bay & Surfers Paradise and tomorrow we're going to Brisbane. Gonna tell you a little more about that soon.

So it's really wierd being out of the Surf camp and from that easy life we had there, becouse really, it was ooh so sweet. I really miss my "Spot X family" and I can't wait to see them all again. Right this minute I'm listening to Birds Of Tokyo - Plans and it's bringing back so many good memories from the camp with all the beautiful people from there. (Btw, JACCO really would love your Spot X playlist!)

So after we left the camp we went to this little place called Yamba, wich was aamazing! It's a really small town with not that much to do but it has the best surf and really good beaches and beautiful landscape. They only have one backpackers, YHA, but it's a really good one and the people staying and working there was really nice. The first night we came there we got told that we were going to join everyone at the hostel in a "tribe theme night", tierd from the day befor and the travel we were not very excited, but we got dolled up and joined anyway and had a really fun night! The day after a guy named Shane took us out surfing and I learnd soo much from him, had my best surfs ever with him there and I could have easily stayed there for soo much longer. I will tell everyone I meet from now on that they really should go there. Thank you Izi for telling us about this place and that we should go there !

So after Yamba we were off to crazy Byron. Byron Bay is famouse for being this really cool surfer town with sick partys. And so it was for us! We went to Cheeky monkeys, which is this really cool place for backpackers becouse it's super cheap, they got like 7$ stakes and 2$ cheese burgers and stuff, and the more noice you make the more free drinks you get. So we had two crazy fun nights in Byron and besides that we went to Nimbin and we went snorkeling. Such a great time, I really like Byron. Becouse we've been there a couple of times it feels like you know the city a little bit and that's kinda nice when your travelling and every place you go is new.

After Byron Bay we're now in Surfers Paradise. It seems cool and this place is all about the nightlife and the sick partys, but I've been sick so I haven't been out. Have been walking around and done some smaller shopping and it seems like a allright town but not one of my favorites so far, a bit to comersial.

Tomorrow we're going to Brisbane and that's gonna be fun, but a thing that's not too good about it is that there is no surf there.

One other thing, we've got another job! At a farm, picking mandarins. Doesn't sound that good maybe but the thing is that we all want to get a second year visa for OZ and to get that you haft to make 3 months at a farm, doing fruit picking or whatever, so this is perfect for that. The place is in the middle of nowhere and beside the farm there is really nothing else to do, so that's a bit shit. So don't know how long we're gonna last there for. The farm is located a bit north of Brisbane, so we might be going there pretty soon, but not sure when, will let you know!

Just had a Skype Chat with my little brother and it's soo nice to here the voice of the people from back home, miss them soo much !

So, now I've been pretty good and done some updating of my trip, but there's heaps more to come so keep visiting, gonna do my best to update you all !

Truckloads of love from Fill down under ! (And I'm sorry about shitty spelling !)
